#4. Do More than Talk, Communicate.

Most people talk, but they don’t communicate. When the other person is not reading meaning to whatever you are saying, or not paying attention to you, there is no communication. If the understanding of what you are saying is not getting to the receiver, then, you are just talking, there’s no communication.

When two or more souls are blessed to be in the presence of each other, the greatest service they can offer one another is communication. Communication is more than just talking!Communication Is interaction between two or more people that serve a higher purpose. Communication is a process of ingesting, digesting, absorbing one another’s thoughts and feelings.

… The most important thing in communication is hearing what isn’t said. – Peter Drucker

Have you ever tried communicating with someone? Really communicating. Trying to share your heart,on a really deep level only to come away disappointed time after time…. Yes, I believe it has happened to us all. Honest, open, heart felt communication is one of the greatest gifts we can offer ourselves. It’s an act that grows love. Many suffer in their relationships and other aspects of life due to inability to communicate.

… “Constantly talking isn’t necessarily communicating.” ― Charlie Kaufman

Communication is key to life. The only way to get healing in relationships, healing for yourself and evolving with others is through the process of communication. Do not leave yourself or the other person hanging, do more than talk, communicate.

Thanks for your time. It’s always good to be with you all.

  1. It’s interesting that when I have asked people what makes a good communicator, most people say, “Oh, someone able to speak in public”, “A good debater”, “Someone who can sell their viewpoint”, “A good writer” — much more rarely, someone says, “A good listener.”

    1. Hmm… Yes dear friend… I couldn’t agree more with you. Those people needs to learn how to truly communicate. Because if they dont, it will keep affecting them in areas negatively. Thanks for your time and words.

      My best regards

  2. Communication is a complex process as you point out. It is so much more than the words we say. It is how we say it – the tone of voice, the body language, the eye contact, the being present , the listening with the heart to truly ‘hear’ what the other is saying.

  3. When two or more souls are blessed to be in the presence of each other, the greatest service they can offer one another is communication – very truly said! There is a lot more than listening to or saying words – there is a deeper conversation waiting to happen, it is precious when that finds space.
