#8. Do More than Work, Excel.

Yes, you’ve got to do more than work. If you want to leave your mark on this planet earth, you must not only work, you’ve got to excel in whatever profession or career or business you find yourself.

Check through your line of work, you will discover that there are some people who are not just doing the work but also excelling in it.

To work is to do something that involves physical or mental effort especially for money or because of a need instead of for pleasure : labor or cause to labor to get something. There is no pleasure, many don’t like what they do, how can you excel in doing what you don’t like?

But on the other hand… To excel is be exceptionally good at or proficient in an activity or subject. You will only be good in something when you like it. And if you like it, there will definitely be passion to drive you and keep you going. Stop working only to meet your daily living or pay your bills only. It will keep you at a distance to your greatness. You need to start thinking of excelling in what you do.

… You were created to excel. There is no limit to how high you can go in life. Keep stretching to the next level. – Joel Osteen.

Create passion and zeal for what you do. Think more of tomorrow than today. Greatness is at your door step, don’t let it go.

… If you plan to excel in big things, you have to develop the habit in the small ones.

Thanks for your time.
